Happy 150th Birthday, Canada! Every Canadian has a different way of celebrating Canada Day, and Canada itself means something different to each person that calls this beautiful country home. However, today was something special. People everywhere, young and old, could be seen wearing maple leaves, or simply red and white.

I personally had the pleasure of waking up early and serving a free pancake breakfast, at a place where all year round, people learn about Canada’s history, properly celebrate where we as a country come from, and what it means to be Canadian. In a place like this, it’s hard not to feel a profound sense of pride. Especially at a time when it seems like everyone is coming together to celebrate.

Thank you, Canada, for giving us a place to learn, grow, and prosper.

Thank you, Canada, for giving us a home.

  1. Hi there. Thank you for expressing what many proud Canadians feel. We were not able to be home to celebrate the 150th. However, we have been watching the activities and thinking about the family gatherings that took place. We could not be more proud. We will be in touch when we return July 7. Luv ya lots. See you soon. G&G 💕🍁🎉
